These Terms govern access to and use of the Logic & Chaos website and digital learning platform. Please read them before purchasing or using the service.
1. Provider and scope
The Logic & Chaos digital learning platform (the “Platform”) is operated by 5Pro Software GbR, Im Technologiepark 1, 15236 Frankfurt (Oder), Germany (“5Pro Software”, “we”, “us”). These Terms apply to visitors, purchasers and registered users.
Payment transactions are processed by Paddle, which acts as Merchant of Record for sales completed through Paddle Checkout. Paddle may present additional checkout terms and privacy information that govern the payment transaction.
2. The digital service
The Platform provides a structured, self-paced learning environment for modern logic. The current product includes 19 modules and 78 learning units, recorded lessons, slides, exercises, extended exercises, a glossary and progress tracking. Features and the organisation of materials may be improved over time.
The website and account interface may be displayed in English, German, Russian and Ukrainian. The current core lessons and materials are delivered in Russian. This language limitation is disclosed before purchase and forms part of the product description.
3. Eligibility and accounts
You must be legally capable of entering into a contract in your jurisdiction. Users under the applicable age of contractual capacity may use the Platform only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
You must provide accurate information, keep login credentials confidential and notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. One purchase grants access to one individual user unless we agree otherwise in writing. You may not share, sell or transfer an account.
4. Price, order and payment
The advertised price is €190 as a one-time payment. It is not a subscription and does not renew automatically. The crossed-out €349 amount is a reference price for the live-cohort format, while €190 is the price of the current self-paced digital edition.
Applicable VAT, sales tax and available payment methods are calculated and displayed by Paddle at checkout according to the customer’s location and status. An order becomes effective after Paddle confirms successful payment. Paddle issues the transaction receipt and handles payment-related processing as Merchant of Record.
5. Delivery and access
Platform access becomes available online immediately after confirmed payment. Login details are also sent to the purchase email within one hour. In unusual cases requiring manual review, delivery of login details may take up to 24 hours. The user is responsible for supplying a working email address and checking spam or filtered folders.
Access is personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and limited to using the Platform for private learning or internal professional development. Internet access and a compatible browser or device are required.
6. Permitted use and restrictions
You may view the lessons, use the exercises and download materials only where the Platform explicitly provides a download function. You must not copy, record, scrape, reproduce, publish, resell, sublicense, publicly perform, distribute or make the Platform or its content available to another person.
You must not bypass technical controls, test the Platform for vulnerabilities without written permission, interfere with service operation, use automated extraction tools, upload malicious code, impersonate another person or use the service unlawfully.
7. Intellectual property
The Platform, software, design, lesson recordings, text, slides, exercises, graphics, logo and other materials are protected by intellectual-property law and remain the property of 5Pro Software, the programme author or the respective rights holder. Purchase transfers no ownership. It grants only the limited access right described in these Terms.
“Logic & Chaos” branding and the supplied logo may not be used in a way that suggests endorsement, partnership or origin without written permission.
8. Lifetime access and service continuity
“Lifetime access” means that the purchased access has no fixed expiry date and no recurring fee. It remains available for the operational lifetime of the Platform and while we retain the rights and practical ability to provide the relevant content. It does not guarantee that every feature, hosting provider, URL or technical implementation will remain unchanged forever.
We may maintain, migrate, redesign or replace technical components. If the Platform is permanently discontinued, we will use reasonable efforts to provide advance notice and, where legally and technically possible, a reasonable alternative way to access core purchased materials.
9. Refund guarantee and statutory withdrawal
In addition to mandatory consumer rights, we offer a contractual 100% refund guarantee without a fixed request deadline. No explanation is required. Details and request channels are set out in the Refund Policy. After a full refund, the associated Platform access may be closed.
Consumers may also have a statutory right of withdrawal. A permanently available electronic withdrawal function is provided through the “Withdraw from contract” link. Mandatory rights under the law of the consumer’s habitual residence remain unaffected.
10. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the Platform available, but uninterrupted or error-free operation cannot be guaranteed. Temporary interruption may occur for maintenance, security, updates, network failures or events beyond reasonable control.
We may add, reorganise or update materials where this does not materially remove the core value of the purchased programme. Major changes affecting paid access will be communicated by reasonable means.
11. Educational nature and no professional advice
The Platform is for education and general information. It does not provide legal, medical, financial, psychological or other regulated professional advice. Examples are used to explain reasoning methods and should not be treated as a substitute for advice based on a user’s individual circumstances.
12. Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, fraudulently concealed defects and liability that cannot legally be excluded. For slight negligence, we are liable only for breach of essential contractual duties and only for the foreseeable damage typical for the contract, subject to mandatory law.
We are not responsible for external websites linked for convenience, or for interruptions caused by the user’s device, internet provider or third-party systems outside our reasonable control.
13. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access where a user materially violates these Terms, shares access, infringes intellectual property, attacks the service or uses it unlawfully. Where appropriate, we will give notice and a reasonable opportunity to remedy the breach. Termination does not limit accrued rights or mandatory consumer remedies.
14. Privacy
Personal data is processed as described in the Privacy Policy. Paddle separately processes payment and checkout data under its own privacy notice. Users should not send sensitive personal information through ordinary support messages unless necessary.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect legal, security, technical or service changes. Material changes will apply prospectively and will be communicated where required. A change will not retroactively remove paid core access or mandatory rights.
16. Governing law and disputes
German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. For consumers, this choice does not remove mandatory protection granted by the law of their habitual residence. Statutory rules on jurisdiction remain applicable.
We are not willing or obliged to participate in dispute-resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board unless participation is required by law.
