This Privacy Policy explains what personal data is processed when you visit the website, purchase access, use the learning platform, contact support or submit an electronic withdrawal.
1. Controller
The controller for the website and Platform is 5Pro Software GbR, Im Technologiepark 1, 15236 Frankfurt (Oder), Germany. Email: logikundchaos@5prosoftware.com.
Paddle acts as Merchant of Record and processes checkout, payment, tax, fraud-prevention and receipt data under its own responsibilities and privacy notice.
2. Data we process
- Website and security data: IP address, date and time, requested page, referrer, browser, device and server/security logs.
- Account data: name or display name, email, account identifiers, language preference and authentication information.
- Learning data: completed units, progress, exercise or lesson interactions and support questions submitted through the Platform.
- Purchase data: product, price, currency, Paddle transaction identifiers, status, purchase email and information Paddle makes available to us. We do not receive complete payment-card details.
- Communication data: the contents of email or Telegram messages and related contact information.
- Withdrawal data: name, contract or order identifier, confirmation email, optional details, submission date and time, and technical security records needed to process and evidence the request.
3. Purposes and legal bases
- To deliver paid access, maintain the account and save progress: performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- To process support, refunds and electronic withdrawals: contract performance, compliance with legal obligations and legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(b), (c) and (f) GDPR).
- To secure, troubleshoot and improve the service: legitimate interests in reliable and secure operation (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- To keep invoices, payment records and legally required evidence: compliance with legal obligations (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR).
- To send optional marketing communication: consent where required (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). This website package does not enable advertising tracking or marketing signup by default.
4. Paddle and payment processing
When you open Paddle Checkout, data is transmitted directly to Paddle. Paddle may process contact, billing, device, payment, tax-location and fraud-prevention information, and may set strictly necessary checkout technologies. Paddle is the Merchant of Record for the transaction and provides its own terms and privacy notice in checkout.
We receive transaction information needed to provision access, provide support, keep accounting records and process refunds. Complete card numbers or card security codes are not stored by us.
5. Service providers and recipients
Data may be processed by hosting, email, security, technical-support and infrastructure providers acting under contract, and by professional advisers or authorities where legally required. We disclose only the data reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose.
The platform-support Telegram channel is optional. Messages sent through Telegram are also processed under Telegram’s own terms and privacy rules; email is available as an alternative.
6. International transfers
Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where required, transfers rely on an adequacy decision, Standard Contractual Clauses or another lawful safeguard. Paddle describes its international-transfer safeguards in its own privacy notice.
7. Cookies and local storage
The presentation website uses only technologies necessary for navigation and basic interface behaviour. It contains no advertising pixels or non-essential analytics in the delivered version.
Paddle.js is loaded only on the checkout page after Paddle integration is enabled. Paddle may then use necessary storage and similar technologies for checkout, payment security and fraud prevention. Your browser can block storage, but doing so may prevent checkout or account features from working.
8. Retention
Account and learning data is retained while access remains active and as needed to operate the Platform. Transaction and invoice data is retained for applicable statutory accounting and tax periods. Support, refund and withdrawal records are kept for as long as necessary to handle the matter, demonstrate compliance and resolve potential claims. Security logs are retained for a limited period unless an incident requires longer preservation.
When data is no longer needed, it is deleted or anonymised unless continued retention is required by law.
9. Your rights
Subject to legal conditions, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent for the future. You may also lodge a complaint with a competent data-protection supervisory authority.
Send requests to logikundchaos@5prosoftware.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
10. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data, including access controls, encrypted transport, backups and service monitoring. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so users should keep passwords confidential and use a secure device.
11. Children
The Platform is not directed to children who cannot lawfully contract or consent to relevant data processing. A parent or legal guardian should contact us before creating access for a minor.
12. Changes and contact
We may update this policy when processing activities, providers or legal requirements change. The current version is published on this page with its update date.
